Frequently Asked Questions
How does Postage & Packaging (P&P) pricing work?
Postage to addresses within the UK is free. If you are not in the UK then please select to either add an international add-on of £3 to your cart, or, If you require signed-for delivery then add an additional £7. If you buy several items, you do not need to add these options for each item! You only add the option once.
Why should I choose a sterling silver or bronze ring over a hand-made copper or nickel silver one?
The main reason is that there is a limited number of pennies in the world. For every one used to make a ring, there is one less left! It’s a bit like depleting a species by killing them! A sterling silver ring is also worth more in monetary-value and doesn’t tarnish like copper and nickel silver. They are of course cast from a genuine original penny and so the memory will be the same!
How can I get my ring size?
The best way is to pop into a jeweller and ask them to measure your ring size - they won't mind - they do it all the time and it only takes a minute! If you don't know it at the time of payment I will ask for it later. You can also request a ringsizer to be posted to you for free - from the Home page! If you have a smartphone then there is an app avaible: https://www.gemporia.com/en-gb/app/ring-sizer/
What are the options for sizing if I have small/big fingers?
The standard ring is a size R. This makes an ideal thumb ring for many women and wedding-ring finger for men. I can re-size rings quite easily. For extrememly large or small sizes there may be an extra charge.
How can I pay?
You can pay on-line on this site with PayPal which also accepts credit cards. You can send a cheque or money (UK only) or deposit into my bank account in the UK.
How long does it take between paying and receiving my ring?
I aim to get your items posted to you within one week. For out-of-stock items you will receive an email notifying you of the date that your item will be sent. All bi-metal rings are custom-made so take 3 weeks.

What is the Blog?
The idea behind the blog is to get Rhodies to leave their footprint on this site! Feel free to say whatever you want! If it is not considered suitable (which I doubt will happen) it will not be published.
