Penny ring from an original coin

This penny ring was made from a 1941 nickel silver coin - the nickel silver ones are relatively scarce, but copper pennies are not scarce (apart from 1954). I have made these rings for all years.. they all bring back wonderful memories! These rings will tarnish, but this can be reduced by rubbing with a little vaseline after cleaning with silvo or other mild product
